Hello everyone. Just stopping in to say hello!!! I have a fairly good connection today and thought I would take advantage of it.
My Mother is doing well and we are in a good routine here. I certainly have some routines in my own home, however, I am also spontaneous and do things as the spirit moves me. Art sometimes takes over and at other times gasp!!!...laundry.
Here in my parents house everything has a routine which is good as I know what is expected of me :)
We are getting along well and one of our favorite past times is remembering the old days...the days when they were young and the days when I was growing up. I have had some pleasant surprises and have learned a lot. Memory is an interesting thing. We have had some discussions on how we remember things about me growing up in their house and each one of us has their own version of certain events.
Thank you all for your comments here and on Facebook and for your e-mails. I am a lucky person to have friends like you. I miss you at the same time this has been good for me. I appreciate my Family and value the time I have with them. My Husband Ken, has been a real Prince, he has stood behind me and my family and helped us all in numerous ways.,,he is a treasure.
Next week, each day after breakfast, I will go to my own home and come back in time to make dinner. I will have my computer with me and will be able to visit your blogs and post more often.
Soon these fellows will be visiting...they will be joined by a new cast of characters. There has been an interesting development. All will be revealed soon.
Photos:
One: Rose from our Thanksgiving table display.
Two and Three: The Tablecloth from our Thanksgiving table...someone spilled on it...no I am not telling who ;> I loved hanging it on the line...you know how much I love laundry lines. Here in my Mother's neighborhood no one minds.
Four: The eight leaves that are hanging on on the Oak Leaf Hydrangea.
Five: An often used image, one of my favorite, this is my version of the little ones warming their toes on the wire.
